Overview of the Sales Specialist role
Smarttech247 is a Global multi award winning cybersecurity organisation located in Cork (HQ), Belfast, Ireland, London, Poland, Romania, Switzerland and US. We are on a high growth phase and are hiring Sales Specialist to join our global sales team here.
Reporting into the Managed Services Manager, the Sales Specialist will be fundamental in proactively engaging with senior security professionals with the goal of driving engagement and qualify opportunities by helping us achieve our, acquisition, channel & revenue growth objectives. We’re looking for ambitious people, who are eager to learn and hungry for success to join our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive new business growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities within your assigned target Market (s).
• Leverage your extensive network and industry knowledge to establish relationships with key senior decision-makers in target accounts.
• Work closely with channel partners to identify and capitalise on joint opportunities
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that targets high-value prospects
• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with a focus on delivering multi-year deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and pre-sales, to ensure a seamless and successful sales process.
• Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting, maintaining up-to-date records in the company’s CRM system.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with customers and partners.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of enterprise cybersecurity sales experience
• A true solutions sales approach, focused on delivering business outcomes to your customers
• Proven track record of selling six figure TCV deals.
• Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and the specific challenges faced.
• Experience working with channel partners to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.
